Many programmes have told the story of the early life of Elvis Presley, his army career and his death, but Destination Vegas is the first and definitive documentary to give an insight into Elvis’s residency in Vegas, a town that was to become synonymous with him.
This unauthorised programme uses previously unseen footage and photographs of Elvis, as well as classic original songs, to tell the story of the Vegas years of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
The DVD also features previously unavailable private footage to explore a controversial chapter in the King’s life, which not only stifled him, but also defined him as the eternal superstar that he would forever be known.
